Alliance Chairman Greg Cuda has been named "Volunteer Conservationist of the Year" for 2012 by Trout Unlimited national. He has been working to protect and restore the Batten Kill since before the Batten Kill Watershed Alliance even existed. He served on the committee of stakeholders that established the Alliance in 2001. He has served as past president of the Clearwater Chapter of Trout Unlimited. He has worked with the other BKWA Boardmembers to guide the Alliance to our current successful habitat restoration projects for the Batten Kill in both NY and VT.
Greg's dedication to the river and his leadership of both of these organizations deserve such national recognition, and he deserves our gratitude. Thank you.
